- Partnering with Parents, Walking the Journey Together
Partnering with Parents consists of a series of training modules designed to strengthen the core competencies of parenting educators. It uses principles of family centered practices to facilitate learning and support with parents. The academy is delivered in face-to-face group settings in Iowa and through online learning. Each summer a 2 day workshop including two of the modules will be offered.

Kellogg Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to apply knowledge to solve the problems of people. Its founder W.K. Kellogg, the cereal industry pioneer, established the Foundation in 1930. Since its beginning the Foundation has continuously focused on building the capacity of individuals, communities, and institutions to solve their own problems.
- Iowa Collaboration for Youth Development
Every Iowa youth has something valuable to contribute to our state. The Iowa Collaboration for Youth Development, working with public and private organizations throughout the state, is promoting opportunities for youth to develop the competencies and connections to contribute to their communities.
With the support and encouragement of their families, schools and communities, Iowa youth can help create a better Iowa. The Iowa Collaboration for Youth Development is working to make certain that youth have opportunities to be involved, practice healthy behaviors and are socially competent, achieve success in school, and are prepared for a career and productive adulthood.
By partnering with communities and youth throughout the state, the Iowa Collaboration for Youth development is crating a better Iowa today and in the future.
