211-Information & Referral
211 provides information and referrals to human services for a number of health related topics. Some of the topics include: quality childcare, after school programs, Head Start, family resource centers, family support & parent education programs, summer camps and recreation programs, mentoring, tutoring, protective services and child health insurance.

Iowa Statewide Parent Information Resource Center for Student Success
This Web site is intended to increase parent and educator knowledge about effective parent involvement strategies in order for increased student achievement.

Medline Plus: Child Development
Offers a variety of resources from the National Library of Medicine, government agencies and health organizations regarding the health of children.     

Healthy Families Line
This is a toll free line that provides information to parents on topics including: immunizations for children, health care coverage, infant/child health, domestic abuse, adolescent health, pregnancy, birth control, sexually transmitted diseases and links to community resources.

COMPASS
Iowa COMPASS is a free, statewide information and referral service for people with disabilities, their families, service providers and other members of the community.

Parenting Monthly
Provides a lising on parent classes, support groups and trainings that are offered specifically in Polk County. This site allows parents to search for classes based on their child's age,  topic area, day of the week, etc.

Healthy Child Care Consultant Network Support Center
Provides resources such as articles, publications and reports to Child Care Health Consultants that support the development and implementation of CCHC networks.

Parents Anonymous of Iowa
Offers information on family resources, parenting classes and contact and referral information for a variety of support and child development programs.
