Comment by Attorney General Tom Miller
On States' Filing Opposing Delay in Microsoft Case
December 31, 2001
DES MOINES. Attorney General Tom Miller: "The States will be ready to proceed, and Microsoft can be ready, too. We have proposed reasonable remedies and the judge has set a reasonable schedule. Let's get on to the conclusion of
this case so we can prevent further harm to competition and consumers."
(Miller is a leader of the nine States plus the District of Columbia that are pursuing the antitrust case vs. the Microsoft
Corp. The States are CA, CT, FL, IA, KS, MA, MN, UT, WV and D.C. The States on Dec. 31 filed their "Opposition to
Microsoft Corporation's Motion to Amend the Scheduling Order." Click here for a link to the Opposition and its Exhibits.)
