Guilty Pleas by Alan Bernard

Alan Bernard pled guilty Friday to two counts of possession of methamphetamine, each a serious misdemeanor under Iowa law. The pleas were entered in Marion County District Court in Knoxville.

Sentencing was set for 1:30 p.m., January 12, 2001. The offenses each are punishable by up to one year in jail and a fine of $250 to $1500.

The prosecution was handled by the Iowa Attorney General's Office at the request of and in conjunction with the Marion County Attorney's Office.
