Statement of the Iowa Attorney General’s Office
We acknowledge that Iowa has issued a Civil Investigative Demand (CID) to Monsanto, as the company reported today. The CID is part of an inquiry into possible antitrust violations by the company and it seeks information on business practices of the company. We believe that is all the information we can provide at this time.
