Exam Results Next Steps

 

FE Exam Pass - Use this form to apply for your Iowa Engineer Intern certificate. (2013 examinees will have their intern certificate mailed to them from the Iowa office upon confirmation by NCEES of official transcript conferring degree)

FE Exam Fail – To reschedule as an Iowa candidate for the next exam you must register with NCEES prior to their posted deadline.

 

FS Exam Pass – Your Iowa Land Surveyor Intern certificate will be mailed to you from the Iowa office 10-15 business days following the release of exam results.

FS Exam Fail – Iowa applications are valid for one year from the date of notarization. During that time you may reschedule the exam with NCEES without submitting a new application to the Iowa Board.

 

PE Exam Pass – Use this form to complete the licensure process.

PE Exam Fail - Iowa applications are valid for one year from the date of notarization. During that time you may reschedule the exam with NCEES without submitting a new application to the Iowa Board.

 

PS Exam Pass – Examinees who also took the Iowa State Specific LS exam will have those results, along with further instructions, mailed to them directly from the Iowa Board office.

PS Exam Fail – To reschedule as an Iowa candidate for the next exam you must register with NCEES  prior to their posted deadline. If you also took the Iowa State Specific LS exam will have those results, along with further instructions, mailed to you directly from the Iowa Board office.

 

Structural Exam Pass (both components) - Use this form to complete the licensure process. 

If you have passed just one of the two components, visit NCEES for more information about the second component. 

If you have received unacceptable results, your Iowa application is valid for one year from the date of notarization. During that time you may reschedule the exam with NCEES without submitting a new application to the Iowa Board.
