The meeting will be conducted via telephone conference call because the agenda item necessitates action that cannot be delayed until the next regular meeting. It is not practical or economically feasible to hold a regular meeting for the limited agenda.

Present via telephone: James Hughes, Chair, Evelyn Rank, Patty Daniels, and Dorothy Woline.
Others present: Roger Hansen, Executive Secretary and Pam Griebel, Assistant Attorney General.

Hughes called the meeting to order at 10:02 a.m.

The Commission discussed and considered granting a one-year emergency contract extension for errors and omissions insurance group plan administered by Rice Insurance Services Company, LLC and a policy written by Continental Casualty Company. The proposed $112 premium represented a $9 increase. The Commission recognized the need to provide a group insurance plan to licensees.

In view of Medmarc Casualty Insurance Company's notice of policy non-renewal for the 2003 policy term, the Commission recognized the need to provide licensees with uninterrupted group insurance coverage at a reasonable price.

Daniels Moved, second by Rank to grant the one-year extension to Rice Insurance Services. Roll call vote as follows: Rank, aye; Daniels, aye; Woline, aye; and Hughes, aye. Motion carried unanimously.

Rank moved, second by Daniels to adjourn the meeting at 10:12 a.m. Motion carried unanimously.
