called to order at 9:01 a.m. by Chair Hughes.

Motion made by
Berry, seconded by O’Neill, to approve the June 28, 2007 minutes as
ammended. Motion carried unanimously.

REPORTS
O’Neill reported he
attended an informative and productive meeting of ARELLO Districts 2 &
3.
ASSISTANT
ATTORNEY GENERAL REPORT
Lundquist gave an
overview of new laws that went into effect July 1, 2007. He also
attended ARELLO meeting and it went well.
STAFF REPORTS
Hansen reported he
attended the ARELLO meeting and was very informative.
Griffel reported
that on August 13, 2007, seven Iowa licensed agents will meet with PSI
to review test questions on the Iowa portion of the licensing exam for
both salespersons and brokers. The fourth quarter Bureau Newsletter will
be mailed the week of the September 17, 2007. She reported for Shari
Fett, Bureau Chief, that renewal forms will not be mailed out as in
years past. Licensees needing to renew will be notified and directed to
a website to renew online. The option to print forms from the website
will still be available.
PUBLIC
COMMENT
McLaughlin reported
the Iowa Association of Realtors has Iowa Referral Disclosure Forms
available for their members regarding the new referral requirements.
CLOSED SESSION
Motion made by Berry, seconded by
Stevens, to enter into closed session pursuant to Iowa Code 21.5(1)(d)
and 21.5(1)(f) to discuss informal settlements, consent
agreements/orders or Consent Orders. Roll call as follows: Hughes, aye;
Daniels, aye; Diehl, aye; O’Neill, aye; Stevens, aye; and Berry, aye.
Motion carried unanimously.
The Commission entered into closed
session at 9:02 a.m. and arose therefrom at
11:19 a.m.
OPEN SESSION
Motion made by Daniels, second by Berry
to accept signed settlements and/or consent agreements, cease and desist
or consent order for cases 07-062; 07-110; 07-128;
07-129; 07-132; and A07-004. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion made by Daniels, second by
O’Neill to find probable cause on the following cases: 07-040; 07-135;
07-139; 07-159; 07-161; 07-170; 07-163; 07-130; 07-003; 07-046; 07-024;
07-043; 07-125; 07-127 A07-013; A07-014 and A07-016. Motion carried
unanimously.
Motion made by Daniels, second by Berry
to close the following cases: 07-115; 07-165; 07-141; 07-113; 07-126;
07-138; 07-140: 07-070 and 07-143. Motion carried unanimously.

Motion made by
Berry, seconded by Diehl, to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
