TThe Organization of MISO States (OMS) is a regional state entity of utility regulators from 14 states and the Province of Manitoba, Canada, formed to lead responses to electricity generation and transmission issues. The OMS increases the coordination and impact of the States. The Iowa Utilities Board is actively involved in this policy work and is often, but not always, a signatory to OMS comments filed with FERC and others.
