On December 6, 2012, Northland filed an application for a certificate to provide local exchange telecommunications services to business customers in the Iowa service areas of Qwest Corporation d/b/a CenturyLink, Windstream, and Frontier. Northland stated that it would mirror the service area maps of the affected Iowa exchanges. The filing continues to be under Board review.

Minburn stated that it would mirror the service area map that is on file for the Perry exchange. The filing continues to be under Board review.
