Apply for a Grant
The Iowa Arts Council is committed to enriching the quality of life for Iowans through support of the arts. Funding for the Iowa Arts Council is provided by the State of Iowa and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. The Iowa Arts Council also administers grant programs on behalf of its parent agency, the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs.
Who Can Apply?
- Eligible applicants can receive one grant award per Iowa Arts Council administered program per state fiscal year.
- No more than one grant application per applicant per program can be submitted during a single grant deadline.
- Up to two grant applications may be submitted per state fiscal year if the first request is unfunded.
- Eligible artists can only receive one Project Grant or one Artist Fellowship per state fiscal year.
Online Application Submission
Applicants must submit applications via the Iowa Arts Council’s SlideRoom, an online application portal. Applications will not be accepted in any other format. All current open application form will be posted on the Iowa Arts Council’s SlideRoom.
