March 18, 2008: The Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals (DIA) and the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) is offering a special one and one-half day training opportunity focusing on identifying the assessment components that must be utilized prior to implementing a behavior or falls management program. The training session, "Improving Resident Lives Through Fall Reduction and Consistent Staffing," will be held April 15-16 at Adventureland Inn in Altoona.
