ACPE
The Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) is the national agency for the accreditation of professional degree programs in pharmacy and for the approval of providers of continuing pharmaceutical education. The ACPE was established in 1932 for the accreditation of pre-service education, and in 1975 its scope of activity was broadened to include approval of providers of continuing pharmaceutical education. The Iowa Board of Pharmacy accepts, for pharmacist continuing education, all programs offered by sponsors approved by ACPE. Such programs will be identified by an ACPE program number and will indicate approval by ACPE.
