Complaints and Inquiries

Analysts in the Iowa Utilities Board's Customer Service Section respond to public telephone, email, and written correspondence about utility activities and complaints about service.  If you are unable to resolve issues with your utility service provider or have question about utility service rules and requirements, Customer Service staff are here to assist you.

Customer Service staff are available weekdays from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, not including official state holidays.

Hazardous Liquid Pipeline objection form (MS Word). This form must be sent to the mailing address above or filed electronically in the Board's Electronic Filing System (EFS). To file in EFS, you must first complete the form and save it to your computer's hard drive. Once the form has been completed and saved, go to the EFS home page and click the Submit Filing button in the top navigation menu. Then click the Submit Filing As Guest button on the left and follow the on-screen directions.
