The Supervision of Fluoroscopy by the Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner

On October 31, 2011, Judge Artis I. Reis of the 5th Judicial District Court ordered judgment entered in favor of the Petitioners (Iowa Society of Anesthesiologists and the Iowa Medical Society), and held that the enactment of both ARC 7888B, codified within Iowa Administrative Code §655 – 7.2 and ARC 8659B, codified within Iowa Administrative Code §641 – 41.1(5) (n) was invalid and illegal and the rules are therefore void and of no effect. The judge further ordered the removal of both rules from the Iowa Administrative Code.
